Introducing price optimization feature. Demand and price will get simultaneously optimized if covariance’s are provided to model. Useful for branded product where price promotions, competition or other market forces result in price elastic behavior of demand.
Integrated with rest of network optimization, it allows organization to do holistic planning than marketing strategies being isolated attempts of boosting margin or market share at the cost of stress on supply chain inventory, transport or production capacity.
Separate algorithm fork (quadratic programming) introduced for this feature (may not be compatible with all solvers). Customer opting for this module are requested to consult the licensing type for compatibility.
